#FF: Drew, “Teenagers,” and Arnold Pumps You Up!

Wait, Is that Drew?

It’s Friday and it’s the beginning of graduation season here in El Paso. I figured I would make some comment about how important education is, how graduating opens doors and how it will be the springboard for your future, blah, blah, blah. I even thought, “It would be great to get a good photo of grads from Notre Dame or UTEP to open the blog.”

That would be nice, right?

Then I came across the following: my buddy Drew about to cut a cake for his graduation, cheesy smile and all. What are the chances I run across a picture of my friend on the Texas Rose Bakery website from Austin? Seriously, that has to be some pretty slim odds!

In any case, many congratulations to everyone this weekend. it is indeed a major accomplishment to finish college. Now to find a job and start paying back those school loans!

Favorite Song For Friday: My Chemical Romance’s Teenagers

Every once in a while I hit shuffle on my music library and earlier this week, this song came up. I don’t know why I’m digging this so much right now, but I love the grungy sound of the song. Reminds me of MxPx for some reason.

Arnold Does Comedy? Yes, He does.

YouTube has been promoting their Comedy Week for a bout a month or so and they’ve had some crazy videos with some pretty funny people. That was until this came out. I’m still laughing.

Twitter Follows of the Week

I would be remise if I used the Twitter hashtag #FF and didn’t list a couple accounts I enjoyed and who were good to follow. With all the build up of “The Office” and the series finale last night, I’ve really enjoyed following Rainn Wilson, better known as Dwight Schrute in the show. He’s the founder of Soul Pancake, which is the home of Kid President (awesomeness). All three feeds are pretty cool and will either bring you something to laugh at or something inspiring. Both are good.
